what happens if i change my routers wireless channel?

I dont know what that is but im by default in channel 6 (2437MHz) and there’s up to channel 11(2462 MHz) what’s the difference, Is it faster on a higher channel???

No, it is not faster. The different channels are used to avoid interference (disturbance) from neighboring wireless routers. If you live in an apartment building, chances are that your signal is being weakened by your neighbors. By going to another channel you can get a better signal (or a worse one if your neighbours are using this). Many routers have channel 6 as the default, so it is a good idea to move to channel 1 or 11.
